We’re British Flower Growers

We’re 4th generation farmers who specialise in dried flowers and petals. Our farm is based in rural Shropshire and we grow a variety of produce including flowers, potatoes, OSR and wheat.

Our farm dates back to the 1940s when John and Daisy Bubb farmed potatoes, sugar beet, cereals and a dairy herd. Daisy was a keen gardener and grew flowers with a small patch of land. By the 80’s Daisy, also known as Nanny Bubb, was selling dried flowers at local markets. Their son Michael took over the farm with wife, Rose, and they scaled up dried flower production to 150 acres of flowers. The farm was exporting dried flowers on a colossal scale around the world, to keep up with demand.

Onto New Heights

By the end of the 90’s the popularity for dried flowers declined and Michael and Rose turned their focus to dried petals for wedding confetti. After years of keeping the petals on the stems, they were now taking them off to make eco-friendly and biodegradable confetti. Over the years, we’ve provided confetti for hundreds of thousands of weddings across the world.

We’ve been incredibly lucky to work on awe inspiring projects and collaborations with household organisations. Our Shropshire grown wheat was used in the 2012 London Olympic bouquets, our petals have even been thrown in front of The Queen at the Diamond Jubilee pageant at Cosford. We’ve featured in national TV shows including BBC’s The One Show and across a number of magazines including Country Living Magazine.

Current Day

The business has grown from a flourishing family farm, to a successful business. These days sons, John and Jim Bubb proudly run the family business with a dedicated team, passionate about offering quality British grown flowers and petals. The team has years of experience in picking out key upcoming trends, growing the best nature has to offer and delivering quality and efficiently.
