Top Buying Trends at Top Drawer London

The LSF Wholesale team hit the road this February to exhibit at the prestigious Top Drawer at London Olympia. Not only was it incredible to meet face to face with our current clients after such a long period of lockdowns and zoom calls, but also introduce ourselves to new opportunities.

Buying Trends for 2022

The demand for dried flowers is predicted to be huge this year, so it was no surprise to get a call from the Top Drawer and Better Trends Co. team, asking to feature some of our LSF Wholesale dried flowers on their Spring/Summer 2022 installation. Seen by thousands of valuable buyers from across the UK, our dried flowers featured throughout the entire installation, proving that dried flowers are incredibly versatile to different colour palettes and add extra value when it comes to visual merchandising.

Earthen Artistry

Inspired by natural earthy tones, this trend is likely a positive result of the pandemic, pushing us all to take the opportunity to get outdoors, appreciate what nature has to offer and embrace the natural world. Earthen Artistry explores textures and form. The dried flowers chosen for this trend were natural oats, white statice and yellow lona.

New Heirlooms

If you’ve ever wanted to reignite that feeling of safety in your childhood home, this trend New Heirlooms explores a new kind of hyge. Express your rich history with new sustainable traditions. For New Heirlooms our apricot statice has been paired with natural lagurus.

Slow Rituals

A muted colour palette and sense of timelessness, Slow Rituals represents a new post-pandemic world. Appreciating our everyday rituals with a tactile and practical approach. Our bleached white avena was chosen to express Slow Rituals.

Positive Reinforcement

Bright, fun, creative and confident, Positive Reinforcement embraces spontaneity and is unapologetic. Embracing life with both hands with a care-free attitude, this playful trend highlights hope and joy. To showcase this trend our pastel craspedia (also known as billy buttons) where chosen, and we think they look right at home.

Top sellers at Top Drawer

On display we had a range of different biodegradable petal confetti grown and dried on our Shropshire farm, from dusky pink delphiniums, to rich royal blue cornflowers. Our petal confetti is used for weddings, celebrations, decoration, decor and adding into products such as household or cosmetics. Individual Confetti Sachets and Confetti Pops are incredibly popular with wedding season ahead of us.

Our Ready for Retail Bouquets were a top seller with Top Drawer visitors too. These products are ready to go straight on the shop floor with no effort or maintenance. We had a fantastic response to our dried flower single variety bunches too, especially our British grown bunches.
